P.M. ‘A’ Service

 

 This inspection is performed approximately every 100-150 hours of operation and includes the following:

  • Replace the oil filter
  • Replace engine oi
  • Clean the air filter
  • Lubricate the chassis and mast assembly
  • Inspect wheels lug nuts where applicable.
  • Visually inspect the battery, cables and connectors.
  • Check all other fluid levels and condition
  • Visual inspection of the major components and systems and perform basic operational function test with machine loaded.
  • A written report is subsequently provided for any repairs required.
  • Time estimate 1.25 hours


P.M. ‘B’ Service

This inspection is usually performed every second or third service interval and includes the following:

  •  All of the above PM ‘A’ operations.
  • Inspect, adjust and replace service parts to the fuel, ignition, starting and cooling systems as required.
  • Change transmission filter and fluid as required.
  • Visual, operational and physical inspections of the major components and systems are performed and fluid levels adjusted as required.
  • A written report is subsequently provided for any repairs required.
  • Time approximate: 3 hours

P.M. ‘C’ Service

This inspection is performed every 1200 to 2000 hours of operation or at least once per year and includes the following:

  • All of the above PM ‘A‘ and ‘B‘ operations.
  • Replace other fluids and hydraulic oil filters.
  • Repack (grease) all wheel bearings.
  • The braking, steering, hydraulic, fuel, cooling and ignition systems are serviced and parts are replaced as required.
  • A detailed evaluation of the overall condition of the forklift, including the lifting device (mast and components) is provided.
  • A written report is subsequently provided for any repairs required.
  • Time approximate: 3 hours


INSPECTION OF LIFTING DEVICES

  • Inspection is required by the Department of Labour and must be performed at least once every 12 months.
  • Upon successful completion of the inspection and any necessary repairs, Liftway will provide a completed and signed ‘Certificate of Inspection’ for your files and a dated certificate will also be affixed to the upright.
  • This inspection can be done independently of other services but is more cost effective when performed in conjunction with the PM ‘C’ service.
  • Time approximate: 1.5 hours

EMISSIONS TESTING

  • Using our portable 5-gas analyzer, we test on a periodic or annual basis for CO, CO2, O2, HC and NOx exhaust emissions from internal combustion powered equipment.  Adjustments are made to maximize the equipment performance with acceptable emission levels meeting legal standards
  • A written report is prepared for repairs required.
  • Upon successful completion Liftway will provide a completed and signed “Certificate of Inspection” for your files and a dated certificate will also be affixed to the upright.
  • Time approximate: 0.75 hours
