Used Lift Trucks
PROGRAMMED MAINTENANCE

Has your Forklift been moody, sluggish or unpredictable?

Although Programmed Maintenance Service is not convenient, it is a necessity if you want to avoid costly repairs and major overhauls in the future. An average forklift, operating 6 hours per day, is equivalent to a car running about 3,600 Miles per month. This means that the lift truck can easily log over 40,000 miles per year!

Regular Planned ( or Programmed ) Maintenance should be done ever 150 - 200 Hours of operation, depending on the type of truck, application, and the manufacturer's recommendations. This service should be performed by a qualified mechanic.

Also, a more thorough II P.M. should be performed every 600 - 800 Hours, or at least once per year - in order to ensure that your forklifts are safe and in optimum working order. This helps reduce downtime and increase productivity.
